About

Kage Software is an independent game studio from California, founded by Clint. We make sims about the hustle: buying, selling, haggling and building something from nothing. Our games, Hobby Shop Tycoon and Flip Kingz, put you behind the counter and in the middle of the deal, where a sharp eye and a quick tongue are your edge. Kage means shadow. We move fast and play hard.

Kage means shadow

Kage (影) is the Japanese word for shadow. A shadow is quiet, quick and always right behind you, which is how a small studio has to work: no noise, fast moves and games that sneak up on the big guys.
